About Heather

Growing up in a house full of travel enthusiasts, I was exposed to traveling the world at a very young age. Many of my favorite childhood memories were spent snorkeling, camping, and horseback riding along the beautiful beaches of Bermuda where my father lived. Since then, travel has always been an important part of my life.

As an adult, I have had the privilege of traveling to many exotic locations with my family. Some of my favorites include Aruba, Playa Mujeres, Cabo, Sayulita, Dominican Republic, and Thailand. These experiences have given me the opportunity to learn and see more than I could have ever imagined, and I will be forever grateful for them!

After earning a degree at Texas A&M University, I spent several years planning hospitality events for corporate sponsors in the professional sports and entertainment industries. Through this experience, I developed a strong desire to help others plan successful events and create memorable moments.

My husband and I chose Jamaica as the location of our wedding after spending one of the most amazing vacations there. We absolutely fell in love with the friendliness of the people and the beautiful tropical surroundings and couldn’t think of anywhere else we would rather celebrate such a wonderful occasion with family and friends!

Planning a destination wedding by myself gave me the necessary knowledge and experience needed to help others do the same. I joined Modern in 2015, and for five years dedicated my time to helping over 350 couples plan their destination weddings. After having my two beautiful boys, I shifted my focus to leisure travel and now help my clients book anniversary trips, group celebrations, corporate incentive trips, and everything in between!
